The Northern & Southern Lights
Before we left for Christmas, we had looked at a video of the Northern Lights, which are called Aurora Borealis. The best place to view the Northern Lights is Alaska by far! They can also be seen from Canada. These lights occur mostly during the months of March, late September, and early October.
The Southern Lights , which are called Aurora Australis, can not be seen by as many people. These lights occur at the South Pole. Every once in a while, these lights can be seen from parts of South America and Australia, but most of the time they can be seen from Antarctica.
